When Frameworks Collide: Putting Intuitive Eating and the Division of Responsibility in Feeding to Work in Pediatric Nutrition Counseling

The two best known, evidenced-informed feeding frameworks are the Satter’s Feeding Model and Intuitive Eating. Many parents are align with one of these feeding strategies.
While these frameworks have considerable overlap, there are distinct differences. In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore the similarities and differences of these in everyday practices. We’ll discuss scenarios where the frameworks appear to be in conflict with one another and also apply a cultural humility lens.

This workshop is pre-approved by CDR for 1.5 CPE and it can meet the CDR Ethics CPE Activity Requirement.
